Step 1: Get in touch

• Use the Get in touch form on our website to give us information about your business and project goals. If needed, we’ll follow up with additional questions.

• Then we’ll send along a project proposal that includes customized package options, proposed timeline, process details, and pricing. This allows us to feel out working together, and there’s no obligation.

Step 2: Onboarding

• If and when you choose to work with us, we’ll send you a statement of work, and get the paperwork squared away. The first half of payment happens here, and this solidifies your booking with us so we can block the time.

• We’ll prepare a customized project dashboard where we’ll track our work together, and house documentation. This way you’ll always be in-the-know about what work is happening and when.

• We’ll begin to gather copy and branding assets from you. (If you don’t have these yet, don’t worry!)

Step 3: Strategy

• We’ll synthesize your web strategy and visual identity into a unified design direction for the website. This document may contain the approach, a refined timeline, sitemap, website references, and a style board to lay the groundwork for full-page designs.

Step 4: Design

• Once you’ve reviewed the Strategy document and given us the thumbs-up, we’ll create a hi-fi homepage design and send it to you for review.

Step 4: Build & Test

• Once the homepage design has been approved, we’ll begin development. We use a development methodology called agile, where we work in one-week sprints. This schedule ensures our project leads, developers, and clients all know what to expect and when.

• Most website projects take 1-2 months to complete, depending on complexity.

• Before we launch, we’ll complete a full round of end-to-end testing to make sure things are functioning as expected.

Step 5: Launch

• Once we’ve got the green-light, we’ll begin domain transfer/connection. This usually takes between 1 to 3 days. Then your site will be live!

• We’ll complete another round of end-to-end testing in production.

• Before we go, we’ll provide you with a customized Code Reference, CMS guides and best practices, and a folder of your new design assets. You’ll have to access to this and all of your technical documentation, via your project dashboard, in perpetuity.

• We’ll hand you the keys to your new site.

• We provide 30 days of post-launch email support.
